Methylene Blue: Is it the Hero Product RFK Jr, A Midwestern Doctor, Dr. Mercola, Dr. Jack Kruse, Alex Jones, and Many Other Doctors and Influencers Suggest? I Tried It.
Sayer Ji (greenmedinfo.com) highlights some of the problems with MB for some people, including me. MB was neurotoxic even at very tiny amounts. For some people and doctors, though, it's a hero hack.

Methylene Blue (MB) is said to be a HERO product for brain support, mitochondrial support, and overall increase in energy. Very well-regarded doctors are recommending this product and many influencers who have tried it are seconding the energy and healing side effects.
MB is a synthetic dye that was found to have biological effects on our brains and other tissues, and influence NADH and NAD + to help tremendously with energy, for some people.
Dr. Jack Kruse, highly regarded neurosurgeon, dentist, and educator in quantum biology and evolutionary medicine, has studied MB and has alot of good things to say about this supplement for neuro-degenerative conditions and many others: “…methylene blue as part of a bio hack for people with neuro-degeneration and various types of traumatic brain injury like concussion, photosensitive seizures, autoimmune brain diseases, migraine headaches and exercise induces changes in neuro-cognition. Methylene blue (MB) is an inhibitor of nitric oxide synthase and guanylate cyclase has many uses in medicine.” Read more HERE.
Dr. Kruse also stated on his Twitter page that MB is neurotoxic, so if using it, we should include CBD oil to balance the MB which is an excitotoxin.
I personally do not do well with CBD oil or MB. But since we’re all different, I did want to write this article, because so many well-respected doctors and many people who try MB have seen great benefits, even though I did not.
A Midwestern Doctor (his articles are amazing and he has become highly regarded in the alternative medical field - he is also regularly featured in Mercola) has said that he recommends MB for those who have mitochondrial problems because of fluoroquinolone antibiotics - the antibiotic that poisoned me and many others, including RFK Jr: RFK JR and DR. GHALILI Fluoroquinolone Antibiotic Damage and Recovery Featured in THE EPOCH TIMES!
RFK Jr was seen on camera taking the blue liquid MB and that’s where a lot of the country started to hear about it.
For my body weight, I had read online that 20-30 drops were recommended - and the bottle said 20 drops. I purchased pharmaceutical grade MB from globalhealing.com which directed me to earthharmony.com. I have used many globalhealing products and trust them and those they recommend.
From globalhealing.com site: “Methylene blue is a dye that has been used throughout history for a variety of scientific applications. Our specially-formulated methylene blue is 99.99% USP/Pharmaceutical Grade, formaldehyde-free, and made in the USA in Phoenix, Arizona. It comes in a 59 mL glass bottle for easy dispensing and potency preservation. Our products undergo rigorous third party testing to ensure consistency and quality. We pride ourselves on the quality of our ingredients and we just know you'll love your results!”
I tried only 2 drops of MB and had awful neurotoxic effects and felt ill - glassy eyes, unable to read, sick, nauseous - these were not detox effects I get with other really good antioxidants like C60 and others, but these are the neurotoxic effects I experienced after being poisoned by a fluoroquinolone, fluoride, and mercury.
Dr. Mercola also has recommended MB for many conditions including increased energy, neuro-degeneration, and more. He stated that many doctors are recommending too high of doses and that everyone should take no more than 3-5 mg daily. There are exceptions to who should take MB. More info HERE.
Sayer Ji, greenmedinfo.com, in his article that I linked, The Blue Brain Effect: Methylene Blue’s Dark Side & What You Should Be Using Instead, is full of good information and drawbacks to MB. He suggests the alternative Organic Blue Spirulina instead of MB.
I have yet to try spirulina but when I do, I’ll update you!
Please leave your comments if you have tried either MB or Organic Blue Spirulina. I would love to hear other’s experiences.
I wanted to try this on my husband, so far I’ve held off. Coal Tar, I didn’t know it was derived from coal tar.
DMSO - I will not ever be without DMSO.
